Terms of Service (Flight Bookings)

1. Terms and conditions applicable

   • Flight tickets available on this website www.blinctrip.com, including the mobile site, mobile application or any other such feature (collectively “Our Website/ Website”) are subject to the terms and conditions of the Terms of Use.
   • The Website is published and maintained by Digital Blinc Technologies Private Limited (“Blinctrip/ We/Us/ Our”)
   • Our Website acts as an intermediary, that displays the availability and pricing of flights and facilitates bookings with the Airlines. When You book a flight ticket, the ticket is sold to You by the Airline and not by Blinctrip. Your flight ticket and Your journey are ultimately governed by the terms and conditions of the Airlines.
   • Airlines retain the right to reschedule, cancel flights, modify their route etc. Airlines are not required to intimate Us of such changes, and We are in turn not responsible for intimating You of any such changes. You are requested to verify and confirm the schedule of the flight prior to Your journey with the Airline.
   • Similarly, Airlines control Your “baggage allowance” for the journey, i.e. what type of baggage You are allowed to carry and weight restrictions on the same. You are requested to verify and confirm the terms and conditions applicable to baggage.
   • Airlines also enter into “code share” agreements for specific routes. This means that the Airline that issues Your ticket does not operate the flight till its destination. Instead, You complete the whole or any part of Your journey on an aircraft belonging to a partner Airline. If Your flight is a code share, it will be disclosed to You in the booking process and prior to payment, provided the Airline has made such information available to Us.

2. Pricing

   • The flight prices displayed on Our Website include base fare and applicable taxes, unless otherwise stated on Our Website or the confirmation email/ticket. However, Our service charges/ fees are displayed only at checkout before final payment.
   • Airlines may also charge additional fees for allocation of seats, and other services including meals-on-board. These services are usually displayed on Our Website for You to choose, before You complete the booking.
   • Sometimes cheaper rates are available on Our Website for a specific product or service. However, these rates may carry special restrictions and conditions, imposed by Airlines. For example, less expensive flights may be non-cancellable, non-refundable, or carry additional restrictions on baggage. Please read the fine print thoroughly for any such conditions prior to making Your reservation.
   • Obvious errors and mistakes (including misprints) in flight prices/ details are not binding on Us.
   • All special offers and promotions are marked as such. If they are not labelled as such, You cannot derive any rights in the event of obvious errors or mistakes.
   • Ticket prices are per person or group and subject to validity or expiration as indicated on the ticket, if applicable.
   • You are required to pay the entire amount displayed at checkout in advance prior to the confirmation of Your booking. If You fail to do so, We reserves the right to cancel the booking.

3. Infant fares

   • Concessions on flight prices for infants are applicable only if the infant is under 24 months of age throughout the entire journey You are booking. This includes both onward and return journeys. If the infant is 24 months or above on the return journey, You will need to make a separate booking using a child fare.
   • All infants must have valid document as proof-of-age showing that they are under 24 months of age.
   • Each infant must be accompanied by an adult of at least 18 years of age.

4. ID proof

   • You will require valid travel documents, such as an approved ID, passport, visa, besides the flight ticket, to enter the airport, check-in to Your flight and complete the journey.
   • We are not responsible for advising You on the nature of travel documents that You may be required to carry, and can, in no circumstances be held responsible for Your failure to carry the appropriate travel documents.
   • You are responsible for checking with the concerned Airlines for appropriate information on travel documents.

5. Check-in

   • Generally, as per Airline Rules, the standard check-in time begins a minimum of 2 hours prior departure for domestic flights and a minimum of 3 hours prior departure for international flights.
   • However, these timings may vary from Airline-to-Airline and airport-airport.
   • We are not required to inform You of the Check-in time for Your flight.
   • You are requested to verify the Check-in timings with Your Airlines prior to Your Journey.
   • In addition, each Airline/ concerned authorities may have a detailed set of procedures that You may have to follow in order to be eligible to check-in/ board a flight. This could include wearing a mask or other protective equipment, downloading mandatory apps, disclosing health-related information, undergoing tests etc. You are responsible for apprising yourself on such requirements, from the concerned Airline, and strictly abiding by the same. We are not responsible for either advising you You on such procedures, nor for any consequences arising from Your failure to abide by them.

6. No-show

   • Airlines reserve the right of admission / boarding for all flights.
   • In case You or any other traveler fails to make it in time for the Check-in or fails to board after the Check-in, the Airline may consider You/the traveler a “No-Show”. We are in no way responsible for any consequences arising from a “No Show”.
   • Please note that a “No Show” is treated as a non-refundable cancellation by most Airlines.
   • In the event that You are a No Show for Your onward journey, some Airlines cancel Your entire PNR, including any bookings You may have made for Your return journey. You should carefully verify Airline policy to see if such terms are applicable to Your booking.

7. Amendment / Change requests - Process

   • We can assist You with amendments/ changes to most bookings. These requests will be processed strictly in accordance with the respective Airline's policies. In some cases, though, You will need to contact the Airline directly to place any change requests.
   • In any case, all bookings made through Us can be amended directly with the Airline.
   • Please bear in mind that depending on the Airline's policy, amendments to some fares selected may not be permitted.
   • Online Change Requests:
     • Online change requests must be made a minimum of 12 hours before departure for domestic journeys and 24 hours before departure for international journeys. Any changes made beyond these times will have to be made by contacting Our Support Centre.
     • In the event an infant booking needs to be modified, the entire booking containing all travellers will be modified simultaneously. In the event you need to make any amendments to the infant travel alone, please contact our Support Centre.
     • For any changes made online, the original booking will be cancelled, and You can then make a new booking with new dates, or with a different Airline or both.
   • Offline Change Requests:
     • Change requests through Our Support Centre must be made a minimum of 5 hours prior the scheduled time of departure for a domestic journey and a minimum of 8 hours prior the scheduled time of departure for an international journey. You can make Your request by contacting Our Support Centre at support@blinctrip.com or on +91 22 68645555.
     • Only change requests made online or through Our Support Center shall be processed. We shall not be liable to process any change requests made through any other medium including but not limited to e-mail.
     • In the event an infant booking needs to be modified, the booking of the accompanying adult along with associated infant will be modified simultaneously.
   • Every change request made to Us is subject to amendment charges levied by the Airline, which may vary by flight and the fare selected. The charges levied by Airlines are non-refundable in case of cancellation post-amendment.
   • In addition to the Airline's charges, Blinctrip charges a non-refundable change fee of INR 400 per traveler, per segment for trips within India and INR 1,000 per traveler, per segment for international trips (Ex-India/To-India/ Anywhere to Anywhere in the world). These charges are also non-refundable in case of cancellation post-amendment.
   • When You amend Your booking, We will then calculate the refundable amount of the original booking and adjust it against any amounts payable on the new booking. If the new fare is lower than the original fare, We will adjust the amount against the amendment fee and the Blinctrip charge.
   • If there is any amount to be refunded after all applicable charges and fees have been collected, the same will be refunded in 7 working days of your change request. The Refund amount will be credited to Blincpay Wallet of a registered member and to the original source of payment of a non-registered member.
   • In accordance with Blinctrip’s Policy, in the event an amendment/change is made to the original booking, seat(s), meal(s) and extra baggage purchased will not be transferred to the new booking.

8. Cancellation Policy

   • All cancellation requests will be processed strictly in accordance with the respective Airline's policies.
   • A non-refundable convenience/service fee is charged by Us for all trips booked on Our Website. Convenience fee will be levied on ticket fares and any ancillaries including onboard meals and extra baggage. In case of any cancellation, the convenience fee will be non-refundable.
   • Every booking made on Our Website is subject to cancellation charges, governed by the Airline’s Policy. The cancellation charges may vary depending on the booking class, the fare selected (refundable, partially refundable, or non-refundable) and the time at which the cancellation was made, and other factors governed by each Airline's policy. For detailed information on the cancellation charges, kindly contact the Airline directly.
   • In addition to the Airline's cancellation charges, Blinctrip charges a non-refundable cancellation fee of INR 400 per traveler, per segment for trips within India and INR 1,000 per traveler, per segment for international trips (Ex-India/To-India/ Anywhere to Anywhere in the world).
   • Online Cancellations:
     • You can cancel Your booking online through 'My Trips'.
     • Cancellation requests will be accepted based on the respective Airline's policies.
     • Online cancellation requests need to be made a minimum of 12 hours prior departure.
     • In the event an infant booking needs to be cancelled, the entire booking containing all travellers will be cancelled simultaneously. In the event you need to cancel the infant booking alone, please contact our Support Centre.
   • Offline Cancellations:
     • We also accept cancellation requests made by calling Our Support Centre.
     • Cancellation requests through Our Support Centre must be made a minimum of 5 hours prior the scheduled time of departure for a domestic journey and a minimum of 8 hours prior the scheduled time of departure for an international journey. You can make Your request by contacting Our Support Centre at support@blinctrip.com or on +91 22 68645555.
   • Only cancellation requests made online or telephonic through Our Support Center shall be processed. Blinctrip shall not be liable to process any cancellation requests made through any other medium including but not limited to email.
   • For cancellation requests made less than 3 hours prior departure, You will need to contact the Airline directly to get Your reservation cancelled. Once Your booking has been cancelled by the Airline, You then have to contact Our Support Centre to initiate the Refund process.
   • If You have done a 'Web/Tele Check-in' with the Airline, contact the Airline directly for cancellation of Your booking. We will not be able to process a Refund while You are still 'checked-in' and will not be held liable for the same.

9. Refunds on Cancellation

   • Any cancellation made directly with the Airline needs to be cancelled on Blinctrip to initiate the Refund process. You can cancel Your booking by contacting Our Support Centre at support@blinctrip.com or on +91 22 68645555.
   • You must request a cancellation / refund within 170 days from the date of the transaction.
   • Cancellation and refund requested within 170 days from the date of the Transaction will be processed back to the original source of payment upon verification of the cancelled booking details.
   • Refunds requested for transactions 170 days and above will be fulfilled offline.
   • You can cancel Your booking and enable Blinctrip to initiate a refund by contacting Our Support Centre at support@blinctrip.com or on +91 22 68645555.
   • For offline refunds, our support centre executive will share an account information form with you via email, after verifying your email address, cancelled booking details and /or any other requisite information.
   • You will need to complete the account information form and provide your bank account details to enable us to process refund.
   • Upon receiving the necessary information Blinctrip will process refund and credit for the same shall reflect in the mentioned account within 5-7 working days.
   • Further, refunds will be processed according to respective Airline rules and cancellation policies mentioned herein above. Such refunds shall be subject to Us receiving the approval and the applicable refund amount from the respective airlines. Subsequent to Us receiving the approval and the applicable refund amount from the respective airlines, Blinctrip shall initiate the process of applicable refund.
   • However, in case an Airline ceases its flight operations, any Refund owed by the Airline to the passenger will be processed by Blinctrip only after Blinctrip has received the same from the Airline.
   • In accordance with Blinctrip’s Policy, charges for seat, meal and extra baggage purchased will not be refunded at the time of cancellation.
   • A non-refundable convenience/service fee is charged by Us for all trips booked on Our Website. Convenience fee will be levied on ticket fares and any ancillaries including onboard meals and extra baggage. In case of any cancellation, the convenience fee will be non-refundable.
   • Any cashback credited to You on your booking will be deducted from your Refund amount. Blinctrip shall not be responsible for any delays, loss, damage, or issues in respect of cashback offers provided or facilitated by third-parties.
   • In the event of cancellation, We retain the absolute discretion to revoke any offer, benefit, coupon or gift made available at the time of Your booking and recover the same from Your Refund amount.
   • In the case of a non-registered User, Refund amounts will be credited to the original source of payment. Registered users have the option to choose whether their Refund amount should be credited to their Blincpay Wallet or to the Original Source of payment.
   • For tickets that have been cancelled and for which Refund has been processed, if the same tickets are found to be amended or utilised on the same PNR directly with the Airline, We reserve the right to debit Your original mode of payment for the amount which has been refunded to You.

10. Welcome Bonus

    • On sign-up / registration, Welcome Bonus of INR 300 will be credited to the users Blincpay Wallet.
    • Valid for 30 days from the date of sign-up / registration.
    • Amount to be utilised for fresh bookings only (not for change/amednments/modifications) made within the 30 days validity.
    • Welcome Bonus amount is non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

11. Intimation

    Blinctrip will send Your booking confirmation, itinerary information, cancellation, payment confirmation, Refund status, or any such other information relevant for the transaction or booking made, via SMS, internet-based messaging applications like WhatsApp, voice call, e-mail or any other alternate communication details provided by You at the time of booking.

12. Goods and Services Tax

    GSTIN cannot be updated once a booking is completed.
