When travelling outside your own country, you may need a passport valid for at least the duration of the trip, although many countries also require you to have at least 6 months, from the date of entry, before your passport expires. To make sure which conditions apply, you need to contact the embassy of the country you are travelling to.
It is the traveller's sole responsibility to comply with all legal requirements to depart the country or enter into a third country and ensure that they have all of the relevant documents.
Have you renewed your passport since you made your reservation?
If your passport number has changed recently and you are taking an international flight, please contact the airline directly so they can update your booking details with the correct information.
For further information, visit your local authority's website regarding passports' policies.
