What’s the Card Verification Number (CVV) on my credit card?

The CVV is an important three to four-digit security code that further reduces the risk of Internet fraud. This number is only found on the physical card itself and never appears on sales receipts or billing statements. We ask you to enter the CVV code as part of a Two-Factor-Authentication process. It helps confirm that the person transacting is in possession of the card.
